New reports are filing in indicating that there are two new iPhone units coming this year from the Cupertino, California company.
According to a brief report from CNET is reporting that news has come from a Japanese website EMSOne, who cite that Taiwan’s Industrial and Commercial Times are saying that two iPhone units are expected to arrive this year, one in July and one in September.
The smaller, 4.7 inch is supposed to launch at some point in July while the larger, iPhablet with a 5.5 inch screen, will launch at some point in September.
As noted by CNET…
“Of course, offering two large-screened iPhones in one year would also be an atypical move for Apple. But the company faces a mobile world increasingly dominated by bigger-screen phones. So the time may be ripe for Apple to start acting more atypically if it expects to attract more customers and stay competitive.”
We’ll find out if the larger screen iPhone will actually launch this year as the summer draws near.
