Malinga named captain of Sri Lanka T20 team, Thirimanne vice-captain

At a Selection Committee meeting held , the National Selectors selected the following players as the Captain and the Vice Captain of the National ODI and T20 teams

Angelo Mathews has been appointed as the Captain of the National ODI Team whileLahiru Thirimanne has been appointed as the Vice Captain of same until March 2015.

Lasith Malinga has been appointed as the Captain of the National T20 Team whileLahiru Thirimanne has been appointed as the Vice Captain of same until March 2015.

This has been approved by the Hon. Minister of Sports
