Over 50 million adults in The United States suffer from arthritis pain! This is an incredibly large number and the reason being is because there are so many causes and types of arthritis! Variations of arthritis include but are not limited to, gout, fibromyalgia, rheumatoid arthritis, or osteoarthritis.
In order to relieve arthritis pain, you have to change your diet and lifestyle, or in the very least include these remedies in your daily health regimen.
Below, I’ve outlined two different kinds of remedies to treat arthritis pain, oral and topical… so there’s no reason to go on struggling with arthritic pain any longer! There are so many different homemade supplements and ointments available that it’d be silly not to try them out. What have you got to lose?… Oh yeah… arthritis pain!
Oral Remedies..
01. Fish Oil..
The most important ingredient in fish oil is omega 3 fatty acids. These fatty acids are potent anti-inflammatories that will target your inflamed joints and muscles.
An obvious way to get your omega 3 fatty acid intake is by incorporating fish into your regular diet. If you’re not a seafood fan or aren’t exactly a wiz in the kitchen you can always take omega 3 supplements.
In order to take full advantage of fish oil, make sure you take it in the morning on an empty stomach; this will increase potency and give you pain relief throughout the day.
02.Cherries..
You may already eat cherries for their delicious taste alone! What a lot of people don’t know is that cherries are jam packed with magnesium and potassium.
Magnesium triggers chemical processes in your body that strive to strengthen your muscles and bones. Magnesium distributes calcium where it is needed in the body… which in this case is your bones! If calcium is not drawn to your bones, it gathers in your tissue, which can make your arthritis even worse.
Potassium aids in cell and tissue growth, which contributes to joint strength and smooth muscle contractions.
03.Apple Cider Vinegar..
Apple cider vinegar is a triple threat! It contains calcium, potassium and phosphorous. The calcium and potassium aid in pain relief and inflammation, while the phosphorous helps remove toxins that could be causing your inflammation in the first place
Add the apple cider vinegar to some warm water and honey; this makes it a bit tastier!
Topical Remedies..
01. Mustard Oil..
Try massaging mustard oil into your problem areas in the morning and night. I usually heat the mustard above boiling water because the warmth penetrates deeper. Mustard oil improves your blood flow and circulation, especially when massaged into the joint.
02. Epsom Salts..
I absolutely love Epsom salts because they ease joint pain fabulously and they’re a great excuse to take a long relaxing soak in your tub! Epsom salts are full of magnesium, which will balance your pH levels. Sometimes arthritis flare-ups are caused when your body’s acidity levels are too high so leveling your pH is essential!
03. Borage ..
Organic borage, also known as starflower, is a plant that has beautiful blue flowers. When you rub borage oil into your pained joints, the omega 6 fatty acids generate cell growth, which can replace inflamed cells with new, healthy cells.
